SPOTLIGHT, Sunday 9:40 a.m.

“Spotlight”, a family oriented learning time is offered on Sunday mornings in “The Spot” room 205 at 9:40 a.m.  This is a time for families with children of all ages to participate together in worship, Word and age appropriate activities.  The morning begins all together in room 205 and then, after worship and a story, small group teachers take the different age groups and their parents or significant adults to their designated rooms for a time of focused application of the story.  Our goal is to be amazed and changed by our perfect God.  We use curriculum from Group Publishing called “Living Inside Out”.

KID’S Church, Sunday, 10:40 a.m.

All students K-6 are welcome to attend KIDS church each Sunday morning. The students will join their parents at 10:40 for praise and worship and will be dismissed when the sermon starts to room 110. There they will be met by dedicated teachers and helpers who love children. They will discuss their week; have a worship moment, and then a short lesson correlating with Miracle Word readings for the week. If you want to know more about Miracle Word you can find that at www.miracleword.net. At the conclusion of their lesson if time allows there will be a time of working on memory work for the current rotation. To find out more about rotations see below or click here: ROTATIONS.

KID’S Club, Wednesday, 6:15 a.m.

Our mid-week program meets on Wednesday evenings September through May from 6:15-7:30. Dinner is served before hand at 5:30, $3 a person. KIDS club tries to be a place where kids can come and not only hear stories from Word but figure out how to weave their everyday lives into the teachings found there. That takes on many different forms from participating in missional projects like Operation Christmas Child, Watering Malawi, serving dinner at Forest Avenue shelter to raking leaves for our neighbor who can’t to preparing plays/musicals to earning keys in our rotation program.  The night is designed with a lot of movement and hands on activities. Your students will love it.
